Type Locality and Naming

Type locality at Shanheila close to Dashetai, Wulate Qian Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Named by Lin Baoyu, Qiu Hongrong, Xu Changcheng, 1984, Geological Review, 30(2): 95–105.

Thick-bedded massive limestone and thin-bedded limestone, with interbeds of sandy limestone and siltstone occasionally.
